You want to grow up, right? But, and I’m just asking: are you sure?
I wanted the same. I wanted it so bad! But you must know (and no one ever told me): when you grow up, you start understanding. You get hurt so much in so many different levels, the people play with your feelings and your mind gets disturbed by the society’s idea of perfection. You see that everyone around you is either smoking, or drinking, or both. You disappoint the people you love, and, more important, you disappoint yourself. You are judged every single day and every step that you take may delight or upset someone. You get overwhelmed by the details, and you find yourself somewhere trying to breath, because you almost forgot how it’s done, so smashed by the things that now you can’t wait for. So, I’m asking you: are you sure that you want to grow up?
